Thanks to the large number of volunteers and discounts from local material suppliers, work has continued on the Daniel Pierce Library addition throughout the winter. Concrete walls and the first and second floors have been poured and new steel put into place. Sides are now being erected.
Time and the Valleys museum will reside on the first and second floors in one wing of the addition. On the hill behind the building a museum village will be constructed. A barn has been donated that will be rebuilt there and plans are that other early 1800 buildings will also be erected.
