The Gift of Clean Water
The connection to the Catskill watershed is a gift bestowed on millions of New York City residents over 100 years ago yet many of them are completely unaware of it.
The truth of the matter is that if you live anywhere in New York City and wake up in the morning wanting to brush your teeth or take a shower, you can’t do it, unless the water collected in the Catskill watershed remains clean and unpolluted.
Time and the Valleys Museum works hard at connecting water, people and the Catskills. We educate people about what is involved with collecting, protecting and delivering the pristine water resources that start right here in the Catskills.
