Japanese Knotweed: Fighting the Spread

Learn about Japanese Knotweed, the invasive plant that has been taking over Catskill streambanks in this presentation by Haley Springston of the Rondout and Neversink Stream Management Program. Understand how Japanese Knotweed is able to grow so quickly and discover what you can do to help fight the spread. Participants will receive an update on the latest JKW treatment efforts being carried out by the Rondout Neversink Stream Program along Chestnut Creek and the upper Rondout Creek.  This program is virtual only, so please email info@timeandthevalleysmuseum.org for the link up to one hour before the program. If you are not a member, it would be appreciated if you went on our website and made a small donation to help cover the cost of the program at: www.timeandthevalleysmuseum.org.
